O Allah, send blessings upon our master and leader Muhammad ﷺ — the owner of the crown, the Ascension, the Buraq, and the Banner; the repeller of affliction, plague, drought, disease, and pain; whose name is written, elevated, interceded for, and engraved upon the Preserved Tablet and the Pen; the master of Arabs and non-Arabs; whose blessed body is sacred, fragrant, pure, and illuminated in the Sacred House and Sanctuary; the sun of the forenoon, the full moon of the night, the foremost of the exalted, the light of guidance, the refuge of the world, the lamp of darkness, the most beautiful in character, the intercessor of nations, the owner of generosity and honour.

Virtue & Benefits

"Taj" means crown — a reference to the Prophet ﷺ as the crown of all creation. This is one of the most celebrated and widely recited salawat, known for its spiritual power, eloquent praise of the Prophet ﷺ, and use as a remedy for illness and difficulty.

When to Recite

Regular daily recitation. Especially at times of illness, hardship, or seeking blessing.

Recommended Times: 11 times after each prayer, or as regularly as possible.
