How to Listen to Surah Al-Rahman (The Ultimate Remedy)

Kindly listen to it three times a day (morning, afternoon, evening) for seven consecutive days.

Before listening:

  1. Close your eyes
  2. Feel yourself in front of Allah Almighty
  3. Then listen to it with greater concentration and closed eyes

When the recitation is finished:

  1. Open your eyes and take half a glass of water
  2. Close your eyes again and say "Allah" three times in your heart
  3. Then drink the water with closed eyes in three sips

Healing Through the Quran

Allah says in the Quran: "And We send down of the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers." (Al-Isra 17:82). The recitation of Qari Abdul Basit Abdul Samad — one of the greatest Qaris of the 20th century — is renowned for its depth, clarity, and spiritual effect. Listening with an open heart and reflecting on the repeated refrain is a powerful act of gratitude and healing.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

Fabi ayyi ala'i rabbikuma tukadhdhiban

Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?

This verse is repeated 31 times throughout Surah Al-Rahman — the most repeated verse in the Quran.

This Surah is also commonly written as: Surah Al-Rehman, Surah Rahman, Surah Rehman, and Surah Al Rahman.
