Surah An-Nas

سورة الناس

Virtue

The Prophet ﷺ used to recite Al-Falaq and An-Nas together after every prayer, and before sleep, to seek protection. They are the final two chapters of the Quran and together form the "Two Refuge Surahs" (Al-Mu'awwidhatayn).

Benefits

Seeking refuge from the whispering of Shaytan and evil from jinn and humans alike. The most comprehensive protection supplication in the Quran.

Surah An-Nas

سورة الناس

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ ۝ مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ ۝ إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ ۝ مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ ۝ ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ ۝ مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ
Qul a'udhu bi rabbin nas · Malikin nas · Ilahin nas · Min sharril waswasil khannas · Alladhi yuwaswisu fi sudurin nas · Minal jinnati wan nas
Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, The Sovereign of mankind, The God of mankind, From the evil of the retreating whisperer — Who whispers in the hearts of mankind, From among jinn and mankind.
