Surah Al-Falaq

سورة الفلق

Virtue

Uqbah ibn Amir reported: "The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Do you not see that verses were revealed to me tonight, the like of which has never been seen? They are Al-Falaq and An-Nas.'" (Muslim). Recited for protection from all outward evils.

Benefits

Seeking refuge from evil creatures, darkness, black magic, and the evil eye. Recited morning, evening, and before sleep for comprehensive protection.

Surah Al-Falaq

سورة الفلق

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ ۝ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ۝ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ۝ وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ ۝ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
Qul a'udhu bi rabbil falaq · Min sharri ma khalaq · Wa min sharri ghasiqin idha waqab · Wa min sharrin naffathati fil uqad · Wa min sharri hasidin idha hasad
Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, From the evil of that which He created, And from the evil of darkness when it settles, And from the evil of the blowers in knots, And from the evil of an envier when he envies.
